Mental Health Practicum Placement Opportunity with Grace C Mae Advocate Center
Grace C Mae Advocate Center has 1 opening for a practicum student for Fall of 2019 placement at the Cedar Rapids office.
This graduate student will be placed in a position of responsibility to our clients. The student will be supervised by LMSW and LISW staff, and our training is on-the-job continuous learning. The student will be treated like an employee, and held to the same level of standards in the field. This placement is not a good fit for a student who is unorganized, inconsistent with scheduling or punctuality, or a student who has a lot of "life circumstances" that need to be accommodated. The students will be assigned to a specific clinic team, and the team is counting on the students’ presence for the treatment of our patients. Students who are organized, eager to learn different types of treatment modality, professional, and wanting a great practicum experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
TO APPLY:
Send your resume and two letters of recommendation to: patti@advocatecenter.org
Grace C Mae Advocate Center, Inc.
Attn: Patricia Gilbaugh
PO Box 4

Students must complete and pass a face-to-face interview, background check, and child abuse registry screening.
