This program is ideal for youth K-12 who have an emotional disturbance, experience trauma, are going through a family crisis or divorce, or have mental health disabilities. This group treatment option focuses on helping kids learn to regulate themselves, refocuses their energy, and facilitates productive lifestyle choices.
Mountain Movers incorporates art, dance, music, drama, and photography to move the mountains in their lives. Each session is packed with skills to help improve quality of life and ability to function and cope. Each participant is required to have a full mental health assessment by a therapist at the Grace C Mae Advocate Center prior to attending group treatment.
