In individual therapy, our focus is to resolve the issues that bring you or your child to counseling and to help establish or reestablish healthy lifestyles. Using the philosophy that all people have the strength and ability to effectively recover and heal from any of life's obstacles, our counselors and therapists will give you or your child the tools to grow beyond negative patterns of thinking and behavior and be empowered to move forward with freedom and confidence.

Your first step is to call us to schedule your initial appointment with one of our therapists. That first session (which generally lasts approximately 1 hour) provides an opportunity for you to build rapport with the therapist and provide him/her with some background about yourself and the reasons you are seeking counseling. To schedule an assessment or for additional questions, please call Dr. Patti Gilbaugh at (319) 361-6529
